Product Description

The Site Signage and Pocket Translator tools were developed for use in Point of Dispensing (POD) operations. They are intended to enhance understanding of POD stations/functional areas and related activities for individuals with limited English proficiency or disability.

The Site Signage tool consists of 24 different pictograms for placement in a clear line of sight at various functional areas within a POD site. The Pocket Translator is a two-part, handheld resource for POD responders to assist community members in navigating a POD site. The first part helps the responder identify the native language of a community member in need of assistance. The second part is a language-specific POD site map for the community member that’s coordinated with the Site Signage to enhance overall navigation and understanding of POD functional areas and services.

Both tools are available in 25 languages.
